Ute's Kitchen

Ute wanted plain white Dezignatek doors and drawer fronts in her kitchen, along with long handles that she sourced herself from Ikea in Australia. She had a beautiful slab of matai that she had been keeping for some time with a bench top in mind, and it has complemented other timber features in the house.

We put a sliding timber shelf into the pantry and an open shelf unit by the window to work around an unusual shaped ceiling. The shape of the walls around the sink meant the cabinetry had to be worked to suit, and since we don't make modular units, this sort of work is easy for us to do. Overall Ute's kitchen looks fresh, suits the style of the house, and won't date because of her use of the timber and white cabinets.

Phil's Kitchen

In renovating his living spaces, Phil extended the back wall of the kitchen, where we situated a large pantry, wall oven unit, hob and fridge.

We used Melteca's 'Oyster' on his doors and panels; all his drawers are in Bestwood's Jarrah veneer. His bench top is Formica's 'Navy Grafix' with a Jarrah bullnose. We finished with a Jarrah cornice along the top of the tall units and above the hob.

Judy's Kitchen

Adventurous with colours, Judy had already chosen them for her kitchen - Melteca's 'Bright Blue' for the doors and drawers, and Formica's 'Blackstone'.

She painted her walls a vibrant yellow. To maximise her storage space we made her a pantry with three pot drawers and a space for her microwave, alongside a standard pantry. Her dishwasher and underbench stove fitted along the same wall, making the best use of a small space.
